WCCS drops match to Crawford Christian
Warren County Christian School fell to Crawford Christian School Initiative 3-0 26-24, 25-21 and 25-18 Tuesday.
Kate Erdman (7 service points, 5 aces, 2 blocks, 2 kills), Rachel Brenner (5 service points), Rebecca Piger (4 service points), Desirae Kerr (3 service points, 1 block, 3 kills, 8 assists), Rebekah Erdman (1 service point, 1 ace, 2 digs), Allie Marino (1 kill, 1 assist), Emily Stowe (5 points, 5 aces, 1 block, 1 kill), Allsion Weidner (2 points, 1 ace, 4 blocks, 4 kills) and Kelsey Kelley (4 digs, 5 service points, 2 aces) led WCCS (2-2).
The JV team stayed unbeaten with a 2-0 25-9, 25-18 win.
Pacing the winners were Rebekah Erdman (8 points, 5 aces, 1 block, 1 kill, 4 assists), McKenna Phelps (5 service points, 1 ace, 1 kill), Allie Marino (3 points, 1 ace, 2 kills), Emma Marino (4 points, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 2 kills, 4 digs), Lydia Cox (4 service points, 1 ace, 3 kills), Rachel Beatty (8 points, 2 aces, 1 assist) and Lily Lauffenburger (2 digs, 2 service points).
The Lady Lions return to action on Friday when they are at Erie First.
