Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police and Conewango Township police are investigating several cases of mailbox smashing and damaged motor vehicles in Conewango and Pine Grove townships. Police said witnesses described the suspected vehicle as an older model station wagon with a headlight out, occupied by two males. Police said they believe the suspects used an ax during the crimes. Criminal mischief. Corry-based state police reported damage caused by a dent consistent with a footprint on the rear hatch near the license plate of a 2000 Chrysler Voyager van is estimated at $500. Police said it happened Wednesday or Thursday of last week. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Corry.
