‘Broadway Night’ planned at First Presbyterian

April 10, 2013
The Times Observer

On Wednesday evening, April 17, the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary will once again light up like Broadway. The annual "Broadway Night" will begin with a wonderful free dinner in fellowship hall at 6 p.m. provided by Lynda Slocum and her crew. Diners will then move on to the sanctuary for the 7 p.m. main event, the "Broadway Night" variety show. Director Barry Dietsch promises an eclectic feel-good night of Broadway style entertainment featuring the Bell Choir, Sanctuary Choir, Junior Choir, and numerous ensembles and solos. Dietsch claims that "even the most winter-hardened Warrenites will enjoy this evening of fun which includes a sing-a-long. Many very talented people have been preparing acts and are eager to entertain and bring a smile to your face." Although admission is free, a goodwill offering will be collected to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event.
