International Healing Rooms Ministries (IHRM) is open in Russell at Praise Fellowship, 7451 Market St., Russell.
This Christian organization was started in Jamestown in 2006 by Mary Ann Dahlbeck who is the current director in this area. There are more than 2,000 healing rooms throughout America, Europe and South America. All are administered by the Healing Rooms in Spokane, Wash. Cal Pierce was called to reopen the healing rooms that had been opened and run by John G. Lakes in the early 1900s after he returned to the U.S. from a career in evangelism in Africa. At one point, the city of Spokane was known as the "Healthiest City in America."
The Healing Rooms staff are all trained team members who lay hands on the sick and pray for healing of the body, soul and spirit. Many healing manifestations come forth in the belief of Mark 16:17-18, "These signs shall follow them that believe, In my name they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." for further information about the IHRM, see the healingrooms.com website.

The Healing Rooms at Praise Fellowship are open from 1 to 3 p.m. each Wednesday. All are welcome to visit during this time for prayer and fellowship.
IHRM training is available for anyone who has a calling to pray for the sick. For more information, call (814) 706-7004 or join the group at the church Wednesday.
