A two-vehicle crash on Route 6, two-tenths of a mile east of Sheffield Area High School, delayed traffic for more than an hour Thursday morning. According to Warren-based state police, Marlee Huddleson, 27, Sheffield, was eastbound on Route 6 at 9:43 a.m. when her 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue veered off the road and struck a 2002 Dodge pickup truck that was legally parked along the berm, with no operator in it. Police said Huddleson's car rotated 90 degrees and came to rest facing south across the eastbound lane. The pickup truck traveled along the berm and struck a utility pole, causing it to break. Police said Huddleson, who was wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment of her injuries. Police said she has been charged with driving on roadways laned for travel. Sheffield volunteer firefighters and EmergyCare assisted at the scene.
