The Hill & Dale Garden Club met recently at the home of Pam McCarthy on Lanning Hill for a demonstration on making wreaths and sashes and how to make a beautiful bow to use on them. McCarthy, Isabelle Hanson and Carol Eckert made wreaths and sashes, and slips were picked as to which members could each take home. Any kind of pine can be used, even a mix of different kinds.
MaryLou VanDorn opened the meeting with 20 members and three guests attending. Reports were read, and dues are being collected.
