Speeding, running red lights route 62 between Hatch Run Rd and the city of Warren. Very poor law enforcement. It's nothing but a speedway. That's where enforcement is really needed.

could very well be. with as slow as everyone goes up through there it would make somebody going the speed limit look as if they are speeding. often when I pass somebody up through there they speed up as I pass them, then tail gate me, and sometimes drive behind me with their high beams on. It really is a nasty trip up through there. I've come around bends up there and have had to slam on my brakes for cars going 10mph in a 55mph zone. It's insane up through through there.

I drive Jackson Run everyday and do not encounter very many speeders. I run into just the opposite, people driving 10, 15, 30mph below the speed limit. I then have to pass them and speed up to make up for lost time in order to make it to work on time. If I leave earlier then I just get behind the slow drivers sooner. There are so many of them up through there.

Perception is everything. It is difficult, if not impossible for someone to determine the speed of a passing vehicle. The noise it makes, time of day, your proximity to the road, can all alter your perception of the speed of a vehicle. I imagine that there are some that are speeding, but do not think it is a cronic issue that the writer would like us to believe. I remeber in my younger days being yelled at to slow down by my elders, all the time driving well within the posted speed limit, only because I drove a loud sounding car.
