I think this is a great idea that could be done with minimal impact. I bet it would be fun to play in the Winter with snow shoes too.

If you believe it must be clear cut to be a course then go to the one in oil city our head towards butler and go towards moraine state park. Very minimal work in terms of changing landscape would be needed.

The best courses are wooded, that's the obstacle.people travel all over for courses. We have traveled 2+ hours for courses. It must be an 18 hole course to be taken serious. This is not your traditional Frisbee throwing. Disc golf is far different and an awesome challenge. This could be a cool asset to our community! If you don't know anything about disc golf and assume its just Frisbee throwing, do your homework! You are not close. Regular Frisbees*****on disc golf courses too...

"The park in it's current form is a waste."

This is not true. Nature for nature's sake, and for no other reason, is never a "waste." An area of land does not need to have overt development of some kind in order to have value.

They may have to remove a few random trees, if any. One of the challenges of disc golf is playing through the trees.

Red flag. How much tree cutting would be required to install a disc golf course up there? Assume you can't throw frisbees through a forest very well. How much logging would be needed to create the 'fairways'?

Oh Jimmy - chill. Heaven forbid anything NEW comes to the area. The park in it's current form is a waste. Bring something of value to it and the area. Disc golf courses are all around us and like always Warren is the last to look into one. Let it happen.

This might work. Whatever is put up there needs to be mostly vandal-proof, since the idiots have always been with us.
