"guitbanger" - you know natural human tendencies is to intellectualize and make themselves sound like an educate hunter is to idealized their excuses to kill animals. It's simple you see, they thirst for that excitement of shooting down a helpless animal, whatever that animal may be. Matthew Scully also mentioned many hunters claim it's a form of "spirituality, self-awareness", it's a religion in itself. The author of this article, I will not comment him because I do not have to entertain him further. It's simply a society with its end goal is to dominate, to rule, and to destroy.

You had your say, now it's my turn. Per various sources on the internet, right or wrong, over 343,000 deer were killed by hunters in Pa. during the 2012/2013 season. 1.3 million deer hunters in Pa. (most in any state). State Farm says 1.5 million autos collide with deer each year in Pa. The last I knew, God doesn't want you to kill a deer. I quit hunting when I realized it really wasn't about it being a sport, but the murder of a defenseless animal, and then to brag about how you performed that murder. At that time, I picked up a camera. I recall seeing a killer carrying a fawn over his shoulder and proud of what he had done. It was no bigger than a bird dog. That was a sad day. And seeing Bambi on the big screen didn't have anything to do with how I feel about it. So you go ahead and kill bambi and then, write and preach about how you are doing god's work and doing a service to the public. Sorry, but I don't buy it.
