Veritas, we need sheffieldsnew building. How do you think we can consolidate to 2 high schools? This project gives us two new facilities. I was there when the bonds and what we could afford was explained. There is no money for wahs or the. The savings from these projects only pays for those buildings. People keep ignoring this, transportation cost won't be a factor. Part of transportation is reimbursed by the state and that cost won't touch the cost to actually renovate wahs....

Co-ops are an excellent idea. Why should students at Eisenhower have so many more athletic opportunities than those at Youngsville?
I believe co-ops should be used throughout the WCSD to give athletes equal opportunities and to (here comes that word) consolidate come of the struggling, short-handed programs that are currently being funded by tax dollars and donations.
If a soccer co-op hurts football participation at a particular school, let's look into a co-op for football, too. If a school can't field full track or softball programs, set up a co-op with another school to give our students a chance to compete as part of a solid program.
We've settled on four high schools, but nothing says each building has to field all sports. Two or three teams in many sports, and just one in less popular sports, make sense with our shrinking student numbers.
