A few years ago, the Housing Authority was lamenting the fact that their occupancy rate had declined. They had too many vacant units. What a shame. People were actually standing on their own feet and NOT depending on the government. Now they're losing money at CC? I recall reading that one of its occupants received a DUI conviction. If he had enough money to go out and get drunk, he should NOT have needed subsidized housing. Will it take total government collapse to learn that socialism does NOT work? Freedom does.
