That would be difficult being that the wcsd does not own Jefferson. The taxpayers of the entire county has been paying for the upkeep of that building for years. Why should it just be given away? Didn't a group want to put a charter school in there at one time too? Giving it away or selling it could come back to bite the district. According to our resigned superintendent who was once asked this same question, what happens to the SG building/ he replied that the district would keep it just in case there is a need down the road to repurpose it.
