A hug and a thank you
Dear Editor,
My husband and I were in line at Tops grocery story on November 10 of this year.
I was chatting with a very nice lady in front of me and my husband.
Now she was checking out her groceries. She paid for her groceries and asked us for our BONUS card.
She looked at both of us and said, I paid for your groceries also. I gave her a hug and thanked her.
Never happened ever to us — that someone so giving at this beautiful time of year. She raised our spirits after the day before and we wish her the best holidays ever.
