Dear Editor,

I have an assignment for the Times Observer and for every one of you. Publicly ask any lawmaker that you can find, federal or state, if they support or denounce Trump’s vulgar, insulting comments about African countries. If you haven’t heard them, just do an internet search. Insist that they respond, publicly, and have witnesses to the response. If they deflect answering, refuse to answer, or are in anyway vague, tell them that the citizens then assume that they support the president’s insults. It is a support or denounce answer, nothing else. They are not allowed to explain away the comments. Then, write letters to the editor to publish their responses, which can be corroborated by your witnesses. And, follow up with appropriate voting at election time.
