As an Audobon Society member, I am gratified to know that we have naturalist writers of the quality of Katie Finch. I look forward to weekly Audobon articles in the Warren Times Observer because living in our pristine forested region. I am curious to learn about the flora and fauna with which I share this part of the Earth. That is what most of your writers accomplish very well. But, Finch’s articles not only teach us about botany and biology, they go beyond to expand our thinking and consider the meaning of our interdependency with Nature. Not only is Finch an exceptional writer, but she is a poet that challenges our curiousity about how and why we are here.
