George R. Gresham

He was born on September 17, 1947, in Cleveland, OH, a son to the late Harry and Shirley (Mauk) Gresham. George is survived by his wife, Susan (Acker) Gresham, who he married on December 28, 1979; his children, Melissa Zoeller of Harrisonburg, VA and Jeremy (Tara) Byble of Grand Junction, CO; his twin brother, David Gresham of Cleveland, OH and his grandchildren, Miranda, Riley and Harrison.

George was a decorated US Navy war veteran. He was the Captain on a River Boat in Vietnam, Bronze Star Combat V. He worked as a Machinist at Corry Custom Machine in Wattsburg for many years. George was a lifetime member of the Tidioute VFW, an excellent woodworker and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A celebration of life will be held on July 29, 2023 at 2pm at their residence, 1866 Tidioute Creek Rd, Tidioute, PA 16351. A pig roast will follow for family and friends and helping hands are always welcome.
