Victor D. Earle Sr.

Born on Dec. 17, 1957 in Windsor, Vt., he was the son of Albert and Margaret (McCoy) Earle Sr. On July 22, 2022 he married his wife, Lynn M. Earle.

He was a graduate of New Hanover High School in Wilmington, N.C., and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. Later he attended truck driving school in Brookville, Pa. He then spent many years driving truck both over the road and local as an independent owner and operator. He was a member of OOIDA, the owner-operator Independent Driver’s Association.

Victor had a passion for racing, both asphalt and dirt track racing, and especially loved watching his son race. Also, he loved to travel, fishing, hunting, camping, the ocean, but most of all he loved his family.

Surviving including his wife are two sons: Victor D. (Stacy Lynn Gunsolus) Earle Jr. of Smethport, Pa., and KevinLee L. (Lacey Schelper) Earle of Mooresville, N.C.; two step-daughters: Heather M. Park of Houston, Texas, and Amber N. Dudley of Lockport, N.Y.; stepson, Chad M. Higley of Kansas City; three brothers: Albert (Sandra) Earle Jr, Eric Earle and Sam (Nina Sky) Earle and sister, Sherry (Chris) Roberts; seven grandchildren: Damian Neubert, Joey Neubert, Victor D. Earle III, Vianna D. Earle, Connor Salter, Madison Park and LucaLee L. Earle; he has many nieces and nephews who loved him and knew him as “Uncle Vic.”
