Mary Jo Hannold

She was born on May 16, 1934, in Ludlow, the daughter of the late William and Hildegard (Burgeson) Beckwith. On June 8, 1956, in Ludlow she married Kenneth Hannold, who preceded her in death.

Mary Jo had worked at the Kane Community Hospital for many years and prior to that she had worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. in Kane.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Amy (Bob) Peterson of Kane; two sons: Kenneth (Janice) Hannold of Richmond, Va., and Joseph (Lori Gordon) Hannold of Kane; five grandchildren: Ken, Katie, Kaathleen, Trace and Tara; six great-grandchildren: Lillian, Addison, Hannah, Alex, Annika and Louis; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Janet Harbison and Lenore Swanson; and three brothers: William, Robert and Donald Beckwith.

Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home on Monday (May 16) from 6- 8 p.m.

A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday (May 17) at the East Kane Assembly of God Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Heather Glogau as celebrant.

Burial will be in Gibbs HIll Cemetery.
