Frank D. Suppa

Frank D. Suppa, 81, of Warren, Pa., died Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 2021,, at residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Sept. 9, 1940, to the late Dominic A. and Elaine Johnson Suppa. Frank has resided most of his life in Warren, Pa., and was a former resident of Irvine, Pa.

He was owner and opera-tor of the former Frank D. Suppa and Son’s Lumber, from 1986 until his retirement in 2004. He was a former member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, where he was a eucharistic minister and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and a member of the Eagles and Warren American Legion Post 135. He was an avid golfer and en-joyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 61years, Adrienne M. Gurdak Suppa, whom he married Sept. 17, 1960, at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, Youngsville, Pa.; one daughterm Corrine Suppa of Winter Park, Fla.; two sons: John Suppa and wife, Laura, and Frank Suppa and wife, Wendy all of Warren, Pa., three brothers: Zachary Williams and wife, Darlene, Thomas “Rusty” Williams and wife, Ginger and David Williams, all of Irvine, Pa.; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dominic Suppa who died Oct. 25, 2021; stepmother, Dorothea Giltinan Suppa; his brother, Stephen Suppa; three grandchildren: Rebekah Suppa, Dominic Suppa III, Adrienne Suppa II.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa., on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, Pa., with Father Stephen Schreiber, pastor and his cousin, Father Thomas Suppa, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery.
