H. David Lee

H. David Lee, 85, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the Warren General Hospital, following a brief illness.

Dave was born March 27,1936 in Parkers Landing, Pa., the son of the late Arthur W. and Ella E. Frampton Lee.

A lifelong area resident, he attended school in Warren. Dave served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division from 1953-56. He owned and operated Dave’s TV in Warren from 1961-98, from which he retired. He then worked part-time at the Watson Home.

Dave was a member of the Conewango Valley Country Club and the Elks Lodge 223. In addition to his love of golf, he enjoyed bicycling, and his billiards games at the Elks. He loved his family, his friends, and especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra J, Stone Lee, whom he married on Jan. 18, 1958, at the N. Warren Presbyterian Church; three daughters: Penny Rizzardi and husband, Louis of Warren, Margie Cerra of Warren, and Kris Bines and husband, Todd, of Warren; a brother, Ralph Lee and wife, Karen, of Warren; six grandchildren: Morgan Rizzardi, Ryan Rizzardi and wife, Bridget, Cole Cerra and wife, Jenna, Carter Cerra, Brandon Bines and fiance, Trista Post and Teah Bines; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his sisters: Lucille Weaver, Jeanne McCloskey, Mary Ellen Sullivan,; and his brothers: Richard Lee, Robert Lee, and Arthur “Sonny” Lee.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. on Thursday, June 17, from 10 a.m. until noon, at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Rev. Burfoot Ward III, pastor, North Warren Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard.
