Evan B. Lanman

He was born Aug. 2, 1942, in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of Henry A. Lanman and Jane B. Lanman.

Evan graduated from Warren High School in 1960, Yale University Undergraduate School in 1964, and Yale University School of Architecture in 1970. Following service in the U.S. Army in Vietman, he returned to Warren for the last 30 years of his life.

Evan was predeceased by his parents and his older brother, Henry A. Lanman, III and is survived by six siblings: Nancy L. Cashman, Patricia L. MacDonald, Gerry L. Africa and her husband, Thomas, Peter Lanman, Linda Lanman and Debbie Lanman; eight nieces and nephews; and 15 great-nieces and nephews.

The family requests that if anyone wishes to send a memorial in Evan’s name, they do so to the Warren Public Library, 205 Market St., Warren, PA 16365, which he visited almost daily or the Crary Art Gallery, 511 Market St., Warren, PA 16365, where he enjoyed volunteering.
