Darcy Campbell

Darcy E. Campbell, 66, of Cherry Grove, Pa., died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness.

He was born Sept. 9, 1954, in Rumford, Maine to the late Fred Campbell and E. Margaret “Peggy” Patten Hoff.

Darcy was a Warren area resident for the past 58 years. He was a 1974 graduate of Warren Area High School. Darcy served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War serving in Fort Richardson, Alaska. He was employed for 23 years with the former National Forge Company, retiring in 2001. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Nascar fan. His greatest joys in life were being a father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Fiscus Campbell, whom he married May 24, 2008, in Tiona, Pa.; six children: Melissa Curry and husband, Scott of Youngsville, Pa., Lisa White and husband, Travis of Smithfield, Va., Eric Blum and wife, Sara of Youngsville, Pa., Heather McGillicuddy and husband, Kevin of Williamsburg, Va., Amber Stanbro of Clarendon, Pa., and Sgt. Brandon Campbell of San Anto.nio, Texas; eight grandchildren: Haleigh Fazio, Matthew Morrison, Tavin and Talin White, Wyatt Troup, Leland Stanbro, Gannon Blum, andLilly McGillicuddy; two brothers: Terry W. Campbell and James F. Campbell and wife, Carmen both of Warren, Pa.; two sisters: Bonnie M. Webster and husband, Kevin of Tiona, Pa., Lynda Lee of Pleasant Twp.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Launa Wooten; and stepfather, George Thomas Hoff.
