Louise Rensma

Born in Youngsville on May 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bernice (Dingfelder) Gibson.

Louise was married on November 10, 1956, to William G. Rensma who died in 1992. She was employed for 45 years at Blair and enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren, and her cats. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday school years ago.

Surviving are 2 children: Eileen Engle of Pittsfield, and Todd (Sharon) Rensma of Russell; 2 sisters, Evelyn Swan of California and Laura Freeborough of Youngsville; 3 grandchildren, David Rensma, Tyler Rensma, and Tanner Burns all of Youngsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul “Gibby” Gibson.

A funeral service will be held at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., 54 West Main St., Youngsville at 1 pm on Saturday, January 11th and friends will be received for 2 hours prior to the service from 11 1 pm. Interment will be private and will be in West Springcreek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be left by visiting mckinneyfuneral.com.
