Carol Phelps

She was born May 6, 1947 in Jamestown, to the late Carl and Mary (Chase) Hedstrom. Carol was a 1965 graduate of Youngsville High School and was a long standing member of the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church. Carol was retired from PNC Bank, where she had worked for 20 years as a teller at the drive thru window. She also enjoyed doing ceramics and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, James Phelps, whom she married June 1, 1968 in Sugar Grove, her children; Donna (Frank) Pastrick of Chandlers Valley, and Mark Phelps and his fiance’ Tammy Gantz, grandchildren; Alahanna and Logan Pastrick, a brother, Carl “Bud” (Betty) Hedstrom of Rock Hill, S.C., a sister Genevieve Hedstrom Reiff of Stage Coach, NV, a niece, JoAnn Hedstrom of Charlotte, N.C., a nephew, James (Amy) Hedstrom of Rock Hill, S.C.. and her grand fur baby Abby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Pickering and her Jack Russell Maggie, that they had for 15 years.

At the request of Carol, no services will be held.
