Gary Blymiller

Gary Edward “Garbo” Blymiller 68 of Rt 948 in Sheffield passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at his home. He was born August 17, 1951, in Ridgway to Orval Blymiller and Margaret “Misulich” Blymiller. Garbo was a 1970 graduate of Sheffield High School. He then went to work for Sigels and Sons Inc as a salesman in Warehouse steel. In his younger years, he liked playing softball. He also liked bowling as well as hunting, and fishing. Garbo was a life member of the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club and took great involvement with the chicken bbq’s. He was one of the founders of the Archery Club. He enjoyed a good Vikings or Pirates game. Garbo could be known for some of his most common sayings: “It is what it is”, “Whatever” and “Stuff like that and what not”. Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his wife Renee (Laih) Blymiller at home, his son Jeremy Blymiller and his fiancÈ Jessica Johnson of Sheffield. A brother Robert Blymiller and his wife Shanda of Kentucky, a sister: Debra Moore of Sheffield. 2 Grandsons: Elliot and Ethan Blymiller of Sheffield. As well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry Blymiller. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.
