David Dennison

David S. Dennison, 72, of Sugar Grove, died Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Intensive Care Unit in St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.

He was born July 25, 1947, in Jamestown, N.Y, to the late Wilbur and Natalie Dennison. David was a warm family man who enjoyed hunting and target practice with air rifles, rifles, and pistols. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and computing on the Internet. At one point he enjoyed a vacation on the Cumbres & Toltec rail line. David had worked at many jobs including, Harding farm assistant/mechanic, Eckstrom farm assistant, Railroad employee, PDM, Cummins, and Dahlstrom. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1966 1969.

He is survived by: Linda Blalock, (Patrick), Aaron Dennison, Edward Dennison, (Corrine) , Dylan Dennison, Clayton Dennison, Jennifer Morningstar, Ethan Morninstar, Aidan Morningstar, Caleb Morningstar, Juliet Rowles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Dennison, Daniel Dennison, Ronald Dennison, Francis Eckstrom, Laurence Eckstrom, Edward Eckstrom.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 57 pm at the Mission Covenant Church, and for an hour prior to a funeral service that will be held there on Wednesday at 11am with the Rev. Brian Haight, pastor, officiating. Burial will be there in the Mission Covenant Cemetery. Members of the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard will provide full military honors at the cemetery.
