Bobby Kay

Bobby W. Kay, 85, of Clarendon, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Warren Manor.

Bobby was born on April 21, 1934, in Lawton, OK, to the late Thomas and Hazel (Bevill) Kay.

Bobby was employed at GTE Sylvania for 37 years and was an active member and a Deacon at the Victory Baptist Church in Clarendon, PA, the Warren County Fire Police and the Clarendon Fire Department. He enjoyed making homemade maple syrup and was an avid cribbage player, still winning games up until his last days. Bobby loved and adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was so loved and will be missed dearly by all of them.

He is survived by his children, Bill (Marlene) Kay, of Clarendon, Brian (Linda) Kay, of Long Beach, CA, Brenda Kay Wassell, of Erie and Bradley (Thu Huong) Kay, of Anaheim, CA; his sister, Leta Ann McLeod, of Myrtle Beach, SC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Kay; and his brotherinlaw, Waites Page McLeod.

Friends will be received from 10am12pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. A funeral service will follow at 12 pm, with Pastor Neal Arthur, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
