Mark Wiedmaier

Mark A. (Weed) Wiedmaier, 64, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, December 28, 2018, as a result of an apparent heart attack.

Mark was born in May of 1954, in Warren, the younger son of the late Perry A. and Martha C. (Ryberg) Wiedmaier. He was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School and worked at ArtTone in Jamestown, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting trap. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider and an active member of the Long Riders Motorcycle Club. He spent much of his free time on his bike with his wife and recently began traveling to drag races. He was a member of Amvets #50 and the American Legion Post 758

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Lori (Childs) Wiedmaier, whom he married on September 23, 2006; his brother, Steve (Cindy) Wiedmaier, of Jamestown, NY; his nephew Ryan (Jess) of Overland Park, KS; along with many other family members and good friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.

At the family’s request, a memorial service will be announced in the spring.
