Jean Zinger

Jean C. Zinger, 88, of Pleasant Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House. Jean was born October 17, 1930, to the late Pete and Irene Chambers.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching College Basketball, especially the Duke Blue Devils. Jean also loved crossword puzzles, bird watching and identifying unique species.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Zinger, of Warren, and Rodney (Rita Pace) Zinger, also of Warren; four grandchildren, Tammi (Jon) Nagurney, Mike (Kasey McCandless) Zinger, Scott Zinger and Vanessa (Pat) Sweeny, all of Warren; her greatgrandchildren, Zachary, Colby, Colton, Ethan, and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald Zinger, whom she married on January 14, 1950; and her brother Bob Chambers.

At Jean’s request, a private funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday December 31, 2018 at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365, with Rev. Ralph Culp, Pastor of Covenant United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Warren County Memorial Park, Warren.
