W. LaRue Bundy

W. LaRue Bundy, 86, of 16 High Street, Youngsville, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, August 20, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Emil D. Bundy, marrying on June 7, 1952 in Tidioute. Born in Woodhall, NY, on April 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Jennie Lillian (Craytor) Kohlman. LaRue was employed as a clerk at Wendelboe’s in Warren for 26 years before retiring. She was a member of Youngsville Free Methodist Church, the Christian Women’s Association, and had been a Sunday School Teacher, and Stonecroft Bible Study Leader. She enjoyed playing cards, cross stitch, painting and drawing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 children, a daughter, Barbara B. (Dan) Johnson of Youngsville, PA; a son,

Edward D. Bundy and friend Pam Pekar of Sterling Heights, MI; a son, Stephen E. (Suanne) Bundy of Spring Creek, PA; and a daughter, Laurie S. (Todd) Harmon of Erie, PA; grandchildren,

Jennifer (Lee) Cain, Emily (Mark) Boespflug, Jesica Bundy (Brandon), Nathan Bundy, Zachary Bundy (Taylor), Christian Bundy (Katelyn); great grandchildren, Lee Cain, Jr., Maliya Cain, Talyn Cain, Gavin BundyNorman, Zoe Boespflug, an aunt, several sisters & brothersinlaw, cousins, nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Chester Morse; an aunt, Earlene Mack; an infant sister, Audrey Kohlman, many brothers and sister’s inlaw and 2 infant grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 3 7 pm at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church on 179 Davis Street in Youngsville where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Rick Hamrick officiating, assisted by Rev. Kathy Thompson. Burial will follow in Wrightsville Cemetery. The family suggests those wishing to place a memorial may do so to the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, the Warren County Christian Women’s Association, or Aseracare.
