Leroy Tudor

Leroy John Tudor, 98, of Wildwood, Florida, passed away on Jan. 4, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Roy was born on July 21, 1919 in Falls Creek, PA. He was the son of the late John L. and Rose C. Dusch Tudor of Falls Creek. Roy served in the U.S. Army Infantry in France during WWII.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Scandia, PA, and then in Wildwood, FL. He spent most of his life in the Warren area and retired after many years working at Blair Corporation in Warren.

Preceding him in death were Jennie, his wife of 20 years, who passed away in February 2002; former wife, Marion Gertsch Tudor who passed away in 1990; 3 stepsons, Kenneth, Daniel, and Lawrence Gertsch from Chandlers Valley, PA; 4 brothers, William from Falls Creek, PA, Kenneth from Falls Creek, PA, Robert from Florida, and James from Florida. Surviving him are his 5 sons, Donald from Wildwood, FL, Richard from Alachua, FL, Robert from Sheffield, PA, William from from Warren, PA, and Lawrence from Moses Lake, WA; a brother, Alvin Tudor from Florida; 2 stepsons, Samuel Gertsch, last know of Bradford, PA and Thomas Gertsch, last known of Jamestown, NY; 16 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services held in Pennsylvania as burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery for veterans in Bushnell, Florida. McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. in Youngsville have been entrusted with all arrangements
