James Hornstrom

James was a 1954 graduate of Warren Area High School. He worked at GTE Sylvania, retiring in 1989. James was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, and the Eagles Club of Warren. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, some of his favorite family vacations included Sandbridge Beach and Disney. He also enjoyed hunting, boating on the Conewango, telling old stories and working in his garage where he could fix anything.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha M. (Jennings) Hornstrom; three children, Theresa Brown, and husband, Steven, of Warren, James Hornstrom, Jr., and wife, Robin, of Hamburg, NY, and Rebecca Williams, and husband, Shawn, of Russell; 8 grandchildren–Derek and Kaitlyn Brown, Erica, Jamie and Ryan Hornstrom, Stefanie Huntoon, and husband, Dustin, and Mariette and Jacob Williams; 2 greatgrand children–Isabella and Lyra Huntoon; a sister–Judy Casey, of Warren; niece and nephew–Timothy Casey and Melissa Rich, and husband, Robert; and greatniece and nephews–Sarah Casey and Justin and Casey Rich.

He was preceded in death by a brotherinlaw, Thomas Casey.

In accordance with James’ wishes, no calling hours will be observed. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
