Mrs. Stewart was born March 7, 1917 in Nanticoke, PA, the daughter of the late Dr. F. E. and Esther Griffiths Davis.

Mrs. Stewart graduated from Nanticoke High School in 1935 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in 1939. She completed one year of dietary internship at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 1940. She was employed as a dietitian at the Warren State Hospital from 1940 to 1943 and from 1951 to 1956. She was formerly very active in the Girl Scouts.

She is survived by two daughters Jean Mirek, and husband Bob, and Marjorie Comerzan and husband David, both of California; two grandsons Scott T. Greenlund and wife Jennifer of Corona, CA, and Mark R. Greenlund also of California; five greatgrandchil dren, Stephanie Francis, Tyler Greenland, Tanner Greenlund, Sean Greenlund, and Alexis Greenlund, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Stewart, whom she married on December 24, 1941 at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Nanticoke, two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Coopey and Mrs. Jean Coopey, and one brother F. Donald Davis.

A private burial service was held at Westview Cemetery, Warren, PA.
