JEAN CRAFT

Jean Craft, 86 passed into the next life from a recent illness on Jan. 11, 2013. She was born in Tidioute August 12, 1926 to the late Fred and Gertrude Lewis. She lived most of her life in Tidioute, PA, where she attended school, married, and raised her family.

Jean was loved by everyone who met her. She said she was put on this earth to be a wife and mother, and she excelled at both. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by 4 children, Robert Van Guilder, Cartersville, Georgia; Diana Summerville, Youngsville, PA; Richard Craft, Dunn’s Eddy, PA; and Laura Craft Chapel (and husband Jeff), Youngsville, PA; 11 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great GreatGrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles William Craft in 1991 and a son, Richard James Van Guilder in 1950. She was also preceded in death by a soninlaw, William (Bill) Summerville, and all of her brothers & sisters; William, Freddie, Ruth, Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Donald.

Per the wishes of Jean, a private family memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Swede Hill Cemetery, Tidioute, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville have been entrusted with all arrangements. Condolences to the family may be made at www.nelsonfuneralhome. net.
