Russell man taken to county jail for burglary

A Russell man was taken to Warren County jail for burglary after he was allegedly found in a residence he was not allowed to be in.

Albert L. Milburn III, 42, of Russell, is charged with burglary and criminal trespass – both felonies.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Pennsylvania State Police were called to the scene of a reported fentanyl overdose at about 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in Russell.

According to the affidavit, a woman returned to her vehicle after shopping to find Milburn unconscious. She called police and drove the man to a residence on Main Street, Russell, where she administered two doses of Narcan before he regained consciousness, according to the affidavit.

When police arrived, she told them Milburn had left on foot possibly toward a known location on Cottage Place.

Police found Milburn inside a residence on Cottage Place. He was taken into custody on an existing arrest warrant, according to the affidavit. Police later determined that he was not permitted to be inside the residence.

He was taken to Warren General Hospital, and, when medically cleared, to Warren County jail.

Milburn was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Laura Bauer and returned to jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 5.
