Hospice Memorial Service Is Nov. 1

The annual Hospice of Warren County Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at St. Josehp Catholic Church, 600 Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren.

The non-denominational service celebrates the lives of loved ones who have passed. The service is open to everyone in the community. Those who want the name of their loved one to be read aloud during the service can call the Hospice office at 723-2455. Names should be submitted by Oct. 26.

Organizers ask those attending to use hand sanitizer, which is located at all entrances and must be used on entry.

Masks covering nose and mouth must be worn while inside. Attendees may sit in every third pew for physical distancing. There will be music during the service, but the congregation will not be singing, only listening.

In addition to the annual memorial service, the Schorman Center offers a variety of grief programs, including Yoga for Grief Relief, Women’s Monthly Grief Group, Suicide Grief Support Group, and a holiday grief workshop.

Call 723-8060 for more information.
