6 new COVID-19 cases reported over weekend

There have been 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Warren County announced over the past four days.

Of those cases, nine have been confirmed and one is listed as probable.

The county’s total is now 56 cases — up about 22 percent in a weekend. The number of cases in the county has doubled since Sept. 1.

The infection rate in the county as of Monday afternoon was 141.80, still the lowest in the state.

As of Monday, the Irvine (16329) and Bear Lake (16402) zip codes were the only ones in the county with no reported cases.

The Warren (16365) zip code had 15 of the 45 confirmed cases and seven of the 11 probables.

Youngsville (16371) had eight cases, all confirmed.

Corry (16407), which includes some of the northwestern part of Warren County, had 53 confirmed cases and 11 probables

Titusville (16354), which includes a small portion of the southwest corner of Warren County, had 27 confirmed cases and less than 4 probables.

Spartansburg (16434), including another portion of the western part of the county, had six confirmed cases and less than four probables.

All of the other zip codes in the county have four or fewer confirmed cases. Tidioute (which includes part of Forest County), Grand Valley, and Spring Creek each had at least one probable case.

The state redacts the exact number of cases when there is at least one but less than five.
