Eisenhower grads receive scholarships

Recent Eisenhower High School graduates are seeing some scholarship dollars roll their way.

AMVETS Post 50 and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post 50 awarded scholarships to three Eisenhower grads who are continuing their education.

Brielle and Brodie Whitney are children of Tom (member of Sugar Grove Post 50 Sons of AMVETS) and Tonya Whitney (member of Sugar Grove AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary).

Brielle is enrolled in the occupational therapy assistant program at Jamestown Business College. Brodie is also enrolled at JBC in the business administration program.

Nicholas Jones is the son of Bill Jones (member of Sugar Grove Post 50 Sons of AMVETS) and Becky Stewart and the grandson of Donna Fry (member of Sugar Grove Post 50 auxiliary).

Jones is attending Slippery Rock University and majoring in computing.

The scholarship program benefits Eisenhower High School graduates who are continuing their education and is funded through local effort by Post 50.
