Another tests positive in county

A seventh individual with a Warren County address has tested positive for COVID-19.

The additional case was announced as part of Wednesday’s daily Pennsylvania Department of Health data update.

That data shows a total of seven cases in Warren County – five confirmed positive tests and two presumptive positive tests. An additional 695 tests have come back negative.

Similarly to the sixth case announced on Monday, county officials have not independently confirmed this case.

“We still don’t have secondary confirmation,” Commissioner Ben Kafferlin asked. “The person was not tested at Warren General Hospital.

The county’s first case was reported by the Department of Health on March 24.

There was not a second reported case for almost two months — until May 13.

The third was reported on May 20.

Cases four and five were reported on consecutive days — June 3 and 4.
