Thursday change of pleas

The following pleas were entered before Judge Gregory Hammond on Thursday during arraignment and change of plea proceedings at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

¯ Ryan D. Baker, Jamestown, NY, to retail theft and driving while under suspension. A count of defiant trespass was not prosecuted.

¯ Felicia M. Durham, Grand Rapids, Mi., to DUI: Controlled substances/impaired ability – third offense, retail theft, possession – small amount of marijuana and driving while operating privilege suspended/revoked. Charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

¯ Brooke M. Glienna, Sheffield, to hindering apprehension or prosecution. Two additional charges of hindering apprehension or prosecution were not prosecuted.

¯ Ezra C. Heeter, Sheffield, to purchase alcoholic beverage by a minor and rear lighting. Charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Minors – first, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense, minor prohibited from operating with alcohol in system and fail to use safety belt – driver and front seat occupant were not prosecuted. Hammond then sentenced Heeter to fines totaling $370.

The following defendants pleaded not guilty:

¯ Krystal L. Beil, Warren. Beil has been charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

¯ John M, Gray, Warren. Gray has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, careless driving and period for requiring lighted lamps.

¯ Jeremiah S. Kay, Clarendon. Kay has been charged with burglary – overnight accommodation, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possess instrument of crime with intent, criminal mischief – tamper with property and criminal mischief – damage property.

¯ Miles C. Lawson, Clarendon. Lawson has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving with accident – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense and period for requiring lighted lamps.

¯ Amanda M. McKendree, Jamestown, NY. McKendree has been charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and harassment.

¯ Damien L. Parisi, Jamestown, NY, to charges at two dockets. At one, Parisi faces charges of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking). Parisi is charged at another docket with burglary – not adapted for overnight, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass, conspiracy (criminal trespass), criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking).

¯ Scot C. Wallace, Warren, to charges at two dockets. At one, Wallace has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense and general lighting requirements. At another docket, Wallace has been charged with DUI: General impairment of safe driving/incapable of safe driving – second offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – second offense, public drunkenness, accident damage to unattended vehicle/property, reckless driving, careless driving and impersonating a public servant.

Bench warrants were issued for the following defendants for failure to appear:

¯ Andrew S. Haines, Warren. Haines has been charged with terroristic threats and two counts of harassment.

¯ Jessica M. Wolfgang, Warren. Warren faces charges at two dockets. Those charges include possession of controlled substances – contraband/inmate, possession of a controlled substance, possession – small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on roadways laned for traffic at one docket and possess small amount/distribute, not sell, possession of controlled substance, possession – small amount of marijuana and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia at the other.
