A Warren man faces a mandatory minimum of at least two years in prison as a result of a guilty plea entered Thursday on a charge that he failed to update his registration as a sexual offender.

Christopher S. Frederick entered the plea as charged during change of plea proceedings on Thursday.

Hammond noted that the charge stems from his failure to update his address within the prescribed time period.

This isn’t the only charge, however, that Frederick faces currently.

He was charged last month with indecent assault without consent of the other and indecent exposure after an alleged sexual incident with a cellmate at the Warren County Jail.

Frederick is accused of sitting on his cell mate’s lap, rubbing his face, neck and shoulders while masturbating on 10 or more occasions and attempting sexual intercourse, according to the police criminal complaint.

The incidents took place at the Warren County jail between Aug. 25 and Aug. 30, according to the complaint.

Frederick has been listed as a sex offender on the Pennsylvania Megan’s Law website since July 19, 2013. His primary offense is listed as receipt/attempted receipt of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Frederick’s victim in this case is also listed as a sex offender.
