Thursday change of plea hearings

One guilty plea was entered and nine not guilty pleas were entered during arraignment and change of plea proceedings before Judge Gregory Hammond on Thursday morning.

The following defendant pled guilty:

¯ Timothy J. Doerfer, Spring Creek, to DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – second offense and exceed 55 mph is other locations by 16 mph. A count of DUI: High rate of alcohol – second offense was not prosecuted.

The following defendants pled not guilty:

¯ Steve R. Blankenship, Ludlow, Pa. Blankenship has been charged with DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability – first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended/revoked, driving without a license, disregard traffic lane and careless driving.

¯ Christina A. Flasher, Warren. Flasher has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

¯ Tyler L. Martin, Warren. Martin has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Michael T. Meehan, Warren. Meehan has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception – false impression.

¯ Richard A. Perry, Jr., Russell. Perry has been charged with terroristic threats, harassment, driving while license suspended/revoked, DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – third offense and DUI: High rate of alcohol – third offense.

¯ Adam L. Smith, Youngsville. Smith has been charged with aggravated harassment by prisoner, institutional vandalism educational facility and disorderly conduct.

¯ Ronda A. Storms, Russell. Storms has been charged with retail theft – take merchandise.

¯ Victor V. Vantassel, Spartansburg, Pa. Vantassel has been charged with terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct – engage in fighting.

¯ Neverlin Vargas, Warren. Vargas has been charged with possession of a controlled substance contraband/inmate.
