There are multiple rewards being offered in the case of an Amish girl who was shot in the face by a BB.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Warren County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $2,000 and an anonymous individual will add $1,000 to that reward for the arrest and conviction of the person who fired the BB gun.

Police said the girl was riding in a buggy on Route 6 in Pittsfield Township at about 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, when someone fired a BB from a westbound vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a maroon or burgundy SUV.

“The BB pierced the side of the buggy, then struck a juvenile female in the face near the eye, causing an injury,” police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warren-based state police at (814) 728-3600 or Warren County Crime Stoppers at (800) 832-7463.
