Crash. At 5:47 p.m., Thursday, August 8, driver Devon C. Swan, 22, of Abilene, TX, was traveling east on Sample Flats Rd in his 2018 Ram 1500 when he made a left hand turn traveling north at an alleged high rate of speed onto Locey Rd, Columbus Twp. He allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing the rear end of the vehicle to fishtail subsequently overturning onto its driver side. The vehicle came to a rest in a ditch facing east. The vehicle suffered disabling damage as the result of the crash and was towed from the scene. Passengers included Stephen O. Foster, 23, of Clearlake Oks , CA, and two 16-year-old females, of Corry. No one was injured. Swan was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police were dispatched on July 22 to Rizer Fireworks on Market St., Russell, for a report of criminal mischief.
