No injuries in Scott Run Rd fire

At 7:18 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019, Starbrick Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) was dispatched to a structure fire at a residence on Scott Run Road.

The fire began as a fire was being burned outside a wooden shed in the back of the residence. The fire had approximately half the shed engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.

No one was inside the shed and no one sustained any injuries during the fire.

The fire was knocked down within ten to fifteen minutes upon firefighter’s arrival. Engines were back in commission by 8:22 p.m.

The damage was contained to half of the shed.

Assisting on scene were Youngsville VFD and North Warren VFD. Glade VFD was returned while on route to the scene.
