A Warren man has been charged with stabbing a woman this weekend in Youngsville.

According to Youngsville Borough Police, Phillip Rose, 54, of Warren, pulled a knife and stabbed the victim at about 6 p.m. Saturday at the Youngsville American Legion.

According to police the victim was not seriously injured.

Police said Rose was located and picked up on Hessel Valley Road in Sugar Grove Township by Youngsville police and Pennsylvania State Police shortly after the alleged incident.

Rose has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday.
