One held for court, two plead guilty at preliminary hearing

One defendant was held for court, two pled guilty and charges were withdrawn against two others during preliminary hearings on Wednesday before District Justice Glenn Carlson.

Genie M. Hasbrouck, Corry, was held for court,. Hasbrouck has been charged with fraud – obtain foodstamps/assistance.

The following defendants pled guilty:

¯ Roni Marie Hunter, North East, to use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Jason Michael Tice, Ludlow, to disorderly conduct obscene language/gesture. Counts of resisting arrest and harassment were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Christopher Joel Jenkins, Warren. A misdemeanor count of retail theft was withdrawn while a summary count retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Brian L. Marsh, Warren. Counts of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: General impairment – first offense and careless driving were withdrawn. A count of exceed max speed limit established by 13 mph was re-categorized as a traffic offense.
