Sentences handed down in county court

Judge Gregory Hammond handed down the following sentence during court proceedings Friday morning at the Warren County Courthouse.

¯ Karen Bailey, Warren, to two years probation, $675 in fines and fees, submission of a DNA sample, 50 hours of community service and compliance with drug and alcohol treatment on a count of simple assault. Bailey was also sentenced to one year probation, a $300 fine and 20 hours of community service.

¯ Michael R. Battko, Sugar Grove, to 363 days to two years less one day incarceration with credit for 363 days time served, $625 in fines and fees, two years probation, submission of a DNA sample, 50 hours of community service and a no contact/trespass order. on a count of conspiracy (criminal trespass – break into structure) as well as $300 on a count of conspiracy (criminal mischief).

¯ Jeremy P. Bidwell, Centerville, Pa., to two year probation, $750 in fines and fees, $5,350.79 in restitution, submission of a DNA sample, a no contact/no trespass order, 50 hours of community service and participation in the COG program on a count of theft by unlawful taking.

¯ George A. Boyer, Jamestown, NY, to six months restrictive probation including 72 hours house arrest, $1,425 in fines and fees, 15 hours of community service, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and a 12 month license suspension on a count of DUI as well as a total of $70 on a count of fail to keep right.

¯ Robert L. Dell, III, Pittsfield to seven months to two years incarceration in state prison and $125 in fines and fees on a count of resisting arrest. At a second docket, Dell was sentenced to one to three years incarceration in state prison, $1,125 in fines and fees, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, submission of a DNA sample and a no contact/trespass order on a count of conspiracy (criminal trespass – break into structure) as well as a $300 fine on a count of conspiracy (criminal mischief). At both dockets he is eligible for the state boot camp and state drug treatment programming.

¯ Terry G. Fetterman, Titusville, Pa., to three to six months incarceration with credit for 229 days time served, $1,550 in fines and fees, $500 in restitution, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 15 hours of community service and a 12 month license suspension on a DUI charge as well as $245 for driving without a license, $70 for fail to keep right and follow too closely and $245 on a count of reckless driving.

¯ Glenn A. Hopkins, Sr., Corry, to 21 to 42 months incarceration in state prison, $500 in fines and fees and submission of a DNA sample on a count of materially false written statement.

¯ Michelle M. Johnson, Warren, six months probation, $725 in fines and fees, compliance with drug and alcohol treatment, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 on a count of disregard traffic lane.

¯ Dustin E. Jordan, Youngsville, to 363 days to two years less one day incarceration with credit for 415 days time served making him eligible parole as well as two year probation, $500 in fines and fees and 30 hours of community service on a count of criminal use of a communications facility. At a second docket, Jordan was sentenced to one year probation, a $500 fine and 15 hours of community service as well as one year probation, a $300 fine and 15 hours of community service on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. At a third docket Jordan was sentenced to one year probation, $425 in fines and fees and 15 hours of community service on a count of tampering with evidence and one year probation, a $300 fine and 15 hours of community service on a count of possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Mae Jukes, Warren, to 166 days to one year incarceration, $375 in fines and fees and 20 hours of community service on a count of defiant trespass.

¯ Ernest V. Kreckel, Jr., Warren, to six days to two years incarceration with credit for six days time served making him eligible for immediate parole, $1,225 in fines and fees, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations, submission of a DNA sample and 30 hours of community service on a count of possession with intent to deliver.

¯ David Rensma, Youngsville, to four days to one year incarceration with credit for four days time served making him eligible for immediate parole, $675 in fines and fees, a no contact/trespass order, compliance with VA treatment and 20 hours of community service on a count of harassment as well as one year probation, a $300 fine and 10 hours of community service on a count of possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Emily E. Schultz, Corry, to six months restrictive probation including 72 hours incarceration with credit for 72 hours time served, $1,175 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI. Schultz was sentenced to 162 days to one year incarceration with credit for 162 days time served, $475 in fines and fees, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations and 20 hours of community service on a count of possession of a controlled substance as well as $345 on a count of operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility.

¯ Randy L. Snyder, Warren, six months to two years less one day incarceration with credit for 52 days time served, one year probation, $1,725 in fines and fees, work release and early reentry eligibility, $240 in restitution, 50 hours of community service and submission of a DNA sample on a count of possession with intent to deliver as well as two year probation, $500 in fines and fees and 20 hours of community service on a count of criminal use of a communications facility.

¯ Matthew B. Vanarsdale, Warren, to three years restrictive probation including 100 days incarceration with credit for 100 days time served, inpatient treatment and house arrest, $725 in fines and fees, submission of a DNA sample, 40 hours of community service and compliance with drug and alcohol treatment on a count of conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver). At a second docket, Vanarsdale was sentenced to one year probation and $625 in fines and fees on a count of theft by deception and $70 on a count of fail to notify change in address.

¯ Patti Jo Vargason, Tidioute, to six months restrictive probation including 72 hours incarceration with credit for 72 hours time served making her eligible for release, $1,425 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 15 hours of community service and a 12 month license suspension on a count of DUI as well as $345 in fines and fees on a count of operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility.

¯ Nathaniel F. Weaver, Pittsfield, to two years probation, $925 in fines and fees, 40 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample, compliance with treatment recommendations and a no contact/no trespass order on a count of simple assault.

¯ Douglas L. Whitmore, Russell, to five years restrictive probation including 12 months hours arrest, submission of a DNA sample, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 50 hours of community service, an 18 month license suspension, $3,875 in fines and fees and compliance with drug and alcohol treatment on a count of DUI – third offense as well as $70 on a count of careless driving.

¯ Brandon M. Wilson, Akron, Oh., to 114 days to two years less one day incarceration with credit for 114 days time served, $1,225 in fines and fees, 30 hours of community service, drug and alcohol treatment and submission of a DNA sample on a count of possession with intent to deliver. At a second docket, Wilson was sentenced to three year probation including six days in the county jail and 147 days of inpatient treatment, $625 in fines and fees, 40 hours of community service and drug and alcohol treatment on a count of selling a non-controlled substance representing a controlled substance.
