Preliminary hearings held in County Court

Four guilty pleas were entered while charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pled guilty:

¯ Chad A. Ginkel, Erie, to marijuana – small amount personal use. Charges of driving while operating privilege suspended/revoked and disregard traffic lane were not prosecuted.

¯ John T. Jarjabka, Jr., Youngsville, to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Eugene A. Kontz, Jr., Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privilege suspended/revoked. A count of restrictions on alcoholic beverages was not prosecuted.

¯ Jamie L. Lee, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges suspended/revoked. A count of operating a vehicle without valid inspection was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Travis E. Coons, Sheffield. Coons had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Arthur L. Windham, Jr., Youngsville. Windham had been charged with retail theft – take merchandise. A count of retail theft – take merchandise was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
