Pleas entered this week in county court

The following defendants entered guilty pleas this week at the Warren County Courthouse.

¯ Christopher E. Battko, Pittsfield, to DUI: Controlled substance — impaired ability — first offense, make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operate vehicle without valid inspection and no headlights. Charges of DUI: Controlled substance — Schedule I — first offense, DUI: Controlled substance — Schedule II or III — first offense, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana — small amount personal use, operate vehicle without required financial responsibility and restrictions on alcoholic beverages were not prosecuted.

¯ Eric C. Berry, Sheffield, to terroristic threats. Charges of strangulation, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person were not prosecuted.

¯ Patrick Clark, Indiana, Pa., to DUI: High rate of alcohol — second offense, resisting arrest and careless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — second offense, driving while BAC .02 or greater while license suspended, driving at safe speed, reckless driving, fail to notify police accident/damage to vehicle and fail to use safety belt were not prosecuted.

¯ Nicole L. Font, Warren, to DUI: Highest rate of alcohol — first offense and driving an unregistered vehicle. A count of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense was not prosecuted.

¯ Dakota S. Griffin, Warren, to corruption of minors.

¯ Jason E. Haight, Warren, to simple assault and terroristic threats. Charges of aggravated assault, institutional vandalism, disorderly conduct — engage in fighting and harassment were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Haight pled guilty to terroristic threats. A count of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.

¯ Cindy L. Hannah, Youngsville, to DUI: Controlled substance — impaired ability — first offense, disregard traffic lane and careless driving. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and required financial responsibility were not prosecuted.

¯ Robert J. Mathis, Jamestown, NY, to DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense and careless driving. Charges of DUI: High rate of alcohol — first offense, obedience to traffic control devices and exceed max speed limit established by 15 mph were not prosecuted.

¯ Shawn D. Moore, Cochranton, Pa., to DUI: General impairment — incapable of safe driving — first offense and careless driving. Charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol — first offense and disregard traffic lane were not prosecuted.

¯ Jason L. Nichols, to possession with intent to deliver, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child, driving while under suspension and simple assault. Charges including two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons were not prosecuted.

¯ Brandon R. Teslovich, Erie, to charges at two dockets. At one, he pled guilty to DUI: Controlled substance — Schedule II or III — first offense, driving while VAC .02 or greater while license suspended and careless driving. Charges of DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability — first offense, failure to keep right, disregard traffic lane and fail to use safety belt were not prosecuted. At the second docket, Teslovich pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while BAC .02 or greater while license suspended and operate vehicle without valid inspection. Charges of possession with intent to deliver, marijuana — small amount personal use, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, fail to carry registration, fail to carry license, exceed 55 mph in other location by 10 mph, violate hazard regulation and fail to use safety belt were not prosecuted.

¯ Owen M. Welch, Warren, to DUI: Controlled substance — Schedule I — first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and operate vehicle without valid inspection. Charges of DUI: Controlled substance — impaired ability — first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no rear lights were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Welch pled guilty to DUI: High rate of alcohol — first offense and careless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment — incapable of safe driving — first offense, fail to carry license and exceed max speed limit established by 26 mph were not prosecuted.

Bench warrants were issued for the arrest of the following individuals for failure to appear:

¯ Angela A. Showers, Eldred, Pa. Showers has been charged with retail theft and unauthorized use of a mtor vehicle.

¯ Samuel A. Walton, Corry. Walton has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana — small amount personal use and illegal operate vehicle without ignition interlock.

¯ Rodney W. Wilkins, Warren. Wilkins has been charged with DUI: General impairment — incapable of safe driving — first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol — first offense, driving an unregistered vehicle, disregard traffic lane, careless driving, damage real property by operating motor vehicle and operating vehicle without valid inspection.
